TRIDEKON CROP SAVERS
Tridekon Crop Dividers: Proven Performance and Profitability for Over 19 Years
For more than 19 years, Tridekon Crop Dividers, manufactured in Canada, have been a trusted and valuable investment for farmers. Designed to minimize crop trampling and tangling during spraying, especially in tall and near-ripe crops, these dividers help you protect your yield and increase your profitability.
Why Choose Tridekon Crop Dividers?
- Reduce Crop Damage: Tridekon dividers can reduce trampling and grain loss by up to 90%, preserving more of your crop and leading to substantial savings.
- Improved Crop Flow: By preventing plant material from being rolled into the ground, they ensure better crop flow during swathing or harvesting, and help avoid blockages at seeding time.
- Faster Return on Investment: Many of our customers report that their Tridekon dividers paid for themselves within the first 1,000 hectares of spraying, thanks to the significant reduction in crop loss and improved efficiency.
With proven results and satisfied users across the farming community, Tridekon Crop Dividers are a smart, long-term investment for enhancing both yield and operational efficiency.
Tridekon’s do have there limitations. They will struggle when spraying tall, tangled and heavy canola crops especially in high rainfall areas if there are no prior spray wheel tracks to follow. It is recommended that Tridekon’s be used early in so as wheel marks are made for later spray applications.
This will then gives the Tridekon’s the chance to do their job properly and part the crop around the wheels.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
You can find installation videos on the Tridekon Canada website; http://www.tridekon.ca
1. I am still trampling crop. What is wrong?
You may be running the Cropsaver too low or too high for it to part the crop correctly, adjust accordingly.
2. How fast can I drive with the dividers on?
The Heavier the crop, the slower you will need to go. In heavy Canola, this may be down to 12-15Kmhr to let crop part. In more mature lupins, you may be limited to 16-18KmHr, cereals 18-22KmHr.
3. Does driving quickly with Cropsavers do damage to the crop?
With the Cropsavers set at the correct crop height no damage should occur. However, if the crop is super heavy, down or tangles some damage may occur, if so reduce speed and let the crop part more smoothly.
4. Doesn’t the canopy stay open after the first cone?
No, the crop waves back. The rear dividers are required to reopen the canopy.
5. How high can the dividers lift?
To the centre of the wheel diameter.
6. How low of a crop can you divide?
Minimum crop height is 50Cm.
7. How heavy should I set the resistance of the cones?
It should take 2-4 Kgs of force to lift the tip of the Cropsaver when set properly.
8. What happens if I set the resistance too light?
The dividers will bounce around and can cause damage.
9. Why am I snapping bolts.
The dividers may be set too light, they will bounce around. OR: Going through heavy canopy (eg: podded canola) will snap bolts.
10. How far in front of the tire should the cone be?
The back of the cone should be no closer than 50mm and no further away than 250mm.
11. How high should we run the dividers?
1/3 of the height of the crop from the lowest point of the divider not the tip.
12. Can I follow tram lines from earlier in the season?
Preferably Yes, if following in boggy conditions, care needs to be taken with ruts left from the original pass that have dried hard. Cropsavers may not bottom out properly and lift as they are designed to do causing them to catch on the sides of the rut and a run-over could occur.
13. When I turn the wheels of my machine the Cropsaver cones drop down?
The tires pivot when the wheel is turned, the Cropsavers will move down slightly this is normal on some machines.
14. Does my Cropsaver cone have to be perfectly centered with the tire?
No, as long as the Cropsaver cone covers the entire width of the tire it can be off centre.
15. Do Cropsavers work in canola?
Yes, if the canola is flowering or in the early podding stage it is easily dividable. However if the crop is tangled, fully podded or lodged and you are unable to walk through it, it will not divide very well. You will need to slow your forward speed to allow better parting. Worst case scenario is that you will tear crop out of the ground and have bunching on the cone.

Designed By Farmers, For Farmers
Tridekon crop dividers have been proven to reduce crop trampling and subsequent grain loss by up to 90%, which is a huge saving.
It is not only the crop saved by not being run over, it is also the increased harvesting efficiencies, with no blockages on the cutter bar at harvest time from tangled crop. Seeding efficiencies are also improved as blockages on the seeding tines are reduced with no long old crop laying on the ground.
With less wasted seed on the ground, these crop dividers, or crop savers, also help to reduce contamination issues in the following year’s crop.
Designed and tested by farmers, for farmers, Tridekon products deliver a safe, cost-effective solution to crop damage.
Not only does the purchase price represent good value, but, being extremely durable, the maintenance and replacement costs of these products will be low.
How Do They Work?
Tridekon crop dividers literally divide the crop around the sprayer wheels.
Featuring a unique floating parallel lift system, the divider is kept horizontal while the cones are adjusted to optimal height for the field conditions and crop type.
The anti-corrosive, stainless-steel cones are designed to prevent chemical absorption and mud build-up, while the slim dividing tip protects the divider and gently opens the crop canopy.
These dividers also boast self-lubricating bushings, which means daily greasing will be a thing of the past.
They can be used for a vast array of crops, including cereals, beans, corn, canola and cotton.
Manufactured in Canada, they are available for most American-made machines.
We deliver Australia-wide, however all stock comes from the importer inter-state, so please allow up to 15 working days for delivery.
