Sorry to harp on about the dangers of extracting bogged machinery. But just had a gentleman ring from NSW who has just put a chain through the front grill of a SP sprayer. Sprayer got bogged so a tractor and chain pulled them out ok, it was still soft country in front so they stayed hitched together in case.
The sprayer went down again without the tractor driver realizing and the added tension snapped the chain sending it into the front of the sprayer.
Fortunately no personal were injured but the sprayer was out of action.
The gentleman is now a client who purchased a 75Tonne by 20 metre package including axle straps, shackles and bridle. In his opinion safety for his personal is paramount!
